Any software that we use, of course, created with the aim to facilitate us in doing something. Of course there are some free software and paid if we want to use it. In this case we will discuss in using the term free software. The term is freeware, shareware, adware and open source.

Freeware, which means the software is free for use, you can not see the software source code, usually accompanied by conditions do not modify the software. There is also a requirement should be accompanied for non-commercial purposes. But the sine qua non of a software called freeware is no limit on the number and time of usage.

Shareware, meaning the software can be downloaded and used the user only to try. If users feel the software is good, then have to buy. Shareware is often limited amount of time used (eg 30-day trial), or the number of the software is run (eg 30x), or feature-specific features that can not be accessed. After the free trial ends, the software can be locked or may be fixed to function properly.

Adware, software that is free, but there are ads that appear when running. Ads can appear either at the start, or come in between use.

Open Source, meaning that the software source code is open to the public, you can modify and distribute or publish the source code modification results in certain conditions, for example by maintaining the software’s name.
